i am a 45 yr. old living what some might find as the good life here in mexico, but that isn't the reason for my being here. while life here is on the cheap for amerikans, it is hardly without it's challenges. i came here to work on books of poetry, and for the last two years while i've written pieces i've not taken the time to finish them, and currently have hordes of material that needs polishing. this blog will be for that work that has yet to be finished, but is in process. some of the work here will include letters, email and the sorts since i find so much expression in these things. i subscribe to the philosophy of less is more. i don't want to spell out each piece for its meaning when the meaning escapes even me. words for me are used to hurt, to sooth, and separate, to bring together and in the end our words are our own, and we must make the most of what we say.
